State-of-the-art Underground Parkade
The Concord takes the importance of car care and cleaning into consideration. An automated undercarriage and tire wash is located near the entrance of the parkade along with a heated entrance ramp to keep the area slip-free. For those who prefer a speedier approach, a four-cycle automated touchless warm water car wash is also available at their disposal.
The ultimate car lover experience includes enclosed two-, three- and four-car private master garages with upgrades are available at The Concord, so there’s always extra room for a few toys – new, old or vintage. Living at The Concord doesn’t mean compromising on space. It means living large.
Setting a Higher Standard for Construction
While concrete is a material basic to any construction, at The Concord we go above and beyond industry norms. We exceed the standard of using insulation materials to fill the air space between drywall and steel studs by using an additional 4” thick concrete block wall to add the luxury of privacy and reduced noise transfer between resident’s suites. Also, the concrete floor slabs are poured 43% thicker than standard construction to substantially reduce vertical noise transfer and vibration at a level that exceeds those of standard construction.
Engineered Beyond Compare
The Concord takes multiple measures and a comprehensive approach in designing for flood and emergency preparedness. From self-repairing foundation walls, to flood fortification strategy and two back-up power systems, giving the peace of mind to every homeowner in the event of an extended power outage due to flood or other incident.
The perimeter of The Concord is designed with a flood fortification system that incorporates low walls, landscape berms and flood gates. In the event of an extreme overland flooding event, the flood gates are raised, sealing off The Concord from outside water flow.
